Hello Everyone,

Welcome to the first of four fun segments from our recent San Diego trip.

Look — what’s not to love about San Diego?  Its a glorious place, a city pretty much made for Gringos like us.   There’s just  so much to see and do, it was tough to even know where to start our adventures.  But based on strong local recommendation, we decided to start in Pacific Beach, at the Pacific Beach AleHouse.

As you probably know, “PB” is a super laid back  beach community well-known for its relaxed attitude and virtually endless entertainment possibilities.   And the AleHouse proved to be a perfect launch for our grand journey.

Excellent, down home fare, a fine arrangement of micro-brews, and an easy going beach-slash-lodge kind of vibe.  Outdoor fire pits, awesome lounge areas, super cool outdoor upper deck … 100% Gringolicious.  We loved every minute of it.  We also tasted thru way too many beers.  But that’s the Gringo way, right?   Far be it from us to stray from the our chosen path.
