Hello Gringo Nation,
We are super excited for the beginning of the trip! Although we had some beginner-like issues at first … ! Turns out good convo can be distracting. We realized this when we were supposed to be in LA and it suddenly occurred to us we were almost in Riverside. We … um … missed the turn/merge. LOLZ!
For all that, we still made it to Santa Barbara in 3.5 hours. Furthermore, when we arrived to the Hotel Marmonte, we were handily upgraded to an ocean view room. Clearly, they could sense the Gringo, and we viewed this as a positive omen for the rest of the trip
Question: where do you find good eats in Santa Barbara after 10:30 PM? We asked the locals on State Street to do us a solid and we were pointed to Uncle Rocco’s NY Pizza. We were all about the piping hot meat ball pizza and icy cold Anchor Steam. Honestly, it was so amazing we enjoyed two rounds of the Steam in honor of our planned visit to the Brewery in San Francisco.
Anyway, its time for us to roll out for some down town breakfast nosh. But videos are coming soon so stay tuned, and thanks to you all for your Twitter, email and text interaction! If you don’t already follow us on Twitter, treat yo’self right.
